Glee – What’s it all about?
Glee is a Saturday morning club for young people aged 10-18 in East Renfrewshire from 10.00-12.30.
When does it run?
It will run most Saturdays from 26th August to 31 March 2018 and a show of the talents of our kids on 4th March at Eastwood Theatre.
Who can come
This is for young people who need support to attend a club and any one who is registered with Inclusive Support can come.
Although we put on a show – you don’t need to be able to sing or even be verbal – you don’t need to be able to dance or walk or if you find mainstream clubs a bit daunting – try Glee as we understand and are truly open to all. SupERkids is run by parents with kids with different support needs so we try to put on a club that will appeal to lots of young people.
What does it cost?
It costs £5 per Saturday from 10am to 12.30. SupERkids obtained funding from Better Breaks to cover the costs of the support workers and the show.
Can I come and see what its like?
Yes please! On Saturday 26th August at 10.30 till 12.30 we are having a Glee open day for families and their SupERkids. Meet the ladies from DASE (dance sing act enjoy!). Meet other kids, and find out what Glee is all about. You can also look at our Glee Gallery to see some photos & view our Neverland show.
